Who are we looking for?
A Data Platform Lead (Hands-on) with experience in delivering data platform, lakehouse, or data warehouse solutions. Ideally, you have already worked on several production data projects in cloud environments and feel comfortable taking ownership of both architecture and delivery. Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar data stack is a big plus. You can adapt quickly, don’t mind working on multiple projects and you’re able to communicate with both engineers and business stakeholders. You won’t be on your own - you’ll work closely with data engineers, architects, and project managers, and together you’ll deliver end-to-end data solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and deliver data platform / lakehouse / DWH solutions end-to-end
- Work hands-on with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure and related tools
- Build and maintain data pipelines (batch / streaming, orchestration, automation)
- Define architecture, standards and best practices for data engineering
- Set up CI/CD, monitoring, data quality and secure access patterns
- Coordinate technical delivery and support other engineers in the team
- Communicate with stakeholders during all project phases
- Participate in solution design, proposals and technical discussions with clients
- Ensure reliable, maintainable and production-ready delivery
What we expect from you:
- Good understanding of data platforms, cloud, and modern data architecture
- At least 3+ years of experience in data engineering / data architecture / similar role
- Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar technologies
- Experience delivering data warehouse / lakehouse / analytics projects in production
- Basic knowledge of Agile / project delivery principles
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, orchestration, or similar tools
- Ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders
- Advanced English, Czech is an advantage
