GenAI Architect / Engineer (Data Security Product)

Help us take an established data security, insider risk protection and compliance platform into the AI era. The product already protects sensitive data across devices and cloud environments in more than 100 countries. Our mission is to build an AI layer on top of it that is truly "AI-ready" — not only by introducing LLM-powered capabilities for end users, but also by creating interfaces designed for agentic communication, enabling autonomous AI agents to securely interact with product data and actions through tool/function calling, MCP and machine-readable APIs.

We are looking for someone who can design AI solution architectures and stay on top of the latest developments in AI technologies. The specific programming language is secondary — what matters most is that you understand how to build, integrate and scale modern Generative AI and agentic systems and that you can successfully deliver them, primarily within the Azure ecosystem.

What you will do:

• Design AI solution architectures on top of a data security product and optimize them for performance, latency, cost efficiency, and security.
• Build the product's AI layer to be truly "AI-ready" and support agentic use cases such as autonomous incident triage, data classification, contextual risk assessment, and automated audit report generation.
• Design and implement interfaces for AI agents by exposing product capabilities and data through tools, APIs, and other structured, machine-readable interfaces (e.g., function/tool calling, MCP).
• Integrate LLMs into product features, including natural language access to security data, conversational assistants, and RAG-based solutions over policies and datasets.
• Develop strategies for the efficient use and scaling of Generative AI in production environments, primarily on Azure.
• Work with and optimize LLMs through prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and, where appropriate, fine-tuning.
• Collaborate within a small engineering team following modern best practices (CI/CD, testing, code reviews).
• Work in a hybrid setup (on-site and remote).

What we expect from you:

• Ability to design AI and cloud solution architectures, primarily within Azure (PaaS, serverless technologies, and AI service integrations).
• Strong understanding of the latest AI technologies and hands-on experience deploying them in production (LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, NLP, automation).
• Experience designing and building AI applications end-to-end. Programming language expertise is secondary, although Python is a strong advantage.
• Experience designing and exposing APIs (REST, Swagger/OpenAPI) and structured interfaces intended for machine consumption.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and experience working with data.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher for client communication and documentation.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks, tool/function calling, MCP (Model Context Protocol), LangChain, or LangGraph.
• Experience developing SaaS products with a product-oriented mindset and long-term ownership.
• Awareness of security and data protection principles, including handling sensitive data, privacy-by-design, and compliance requirements (GDPR and similar regulations).
• Deep knowledge of Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, and related services, with familiarity with AWS and GCP as an additional advantage.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, as well as CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep).
• Understanding of MLOps and deploying AI models into production environments.
• Basic frontend knowledge (React/TypeScript, Next.js) for occasional interaction with AI-powered user interfaces.
